Today, more than 50 years later, the GSSA is still a hub where people come together to live out their passion for "family". Being a member of the GSSA is like being a student of Genealogy at a "University of Practical Experience". Individually and collectively, GSSA members make a great contribution to the expansion and development of genealogy in South Africa.
Each member is first and foremost a member of the GSSA, a non-profit organisation. The GSSA consists of the National Executive Committee and twelve branches with about 1,000 members nationwide and abroad. The constitution is the most important founding document of the GSSA, while the annual reports of the Annual General Meetings (AGM) and the awards may reflect the work of the GSSA.
Come, be part of the Genealogical Society of South Africa.
