In loving Memory this album is dedicated as a Tribute to Family and Friends who made a difference to us.

This is a joint project of the GSSA and the SAGenealogy mailing list with GSSA acting as host for the collection of Funeral Programs on the GSSA website.

GSSA's approach to the album:
When Funeral Programs are submitted to GSSA for publication, GSSA automatically accepts that the donor has obtained the necessary permission / consent from the families concerned.

GSSA does not accept any responsibility to obtain permission / consent from families concerned before publishing Funeral Programs submitted by individual donors.

From 1 August 2011 an embargo is placed on publishing any Funeral Programs within 12 months of Date of Death. All Funeral Programs sent to us prior to the 12 month period, will be placed on hold, until the period expires.

Funeral Programs are packed with useful genealogical information.

The programs have all been indexed and arranged alphabetically, making it easier for the researcher to locate the data and they are fully searchable using the Search Engine.

Surnames with pre-fixes eg. de Beer, du Plesssis, van der Merwe, du Toit, le Roux, etc. are filed according to the main surname eg. Beer, Plessis, Merwe, Toit, Roux etc.

Click on the alphabet letter (icon) of the ABC-album in which you want to search.
A white background indicates that there is only one page (photo) in the sub-album.
A darker background indicates that the sub-album contains more than one page. Click on an icon (photo) to open / enlarge a sub-album or individual page (photo).

We have captioned the pictures with names and dates as they appear on the BB’s.
